Fees Overview

Fees are the amounts commonly used for various leasing and/or ledger functions, including applications, move ins, move outs, transfers, and return items. Fees are associated with income codes and amounts.

To assist with the entry of the correct fee in a given set of circumstances, you can use the Fees option to set up the system so that it asks users to select a word like Application for an application fee. Using the words instead of asking users to select income codes reduces errors.

Note

Setting up fees is optional. Prior to adding fees, income codes must be set up and available for selection.
