About Work Environ Title Bar

Regardless of where you are in the application, the title bar displays across the top of the page. The bar includes the following information and buttons:

The Welcome field is always visible in the Title bar. The user name is displayed to the right of the field label.

The date in the Title bar is a global date. When you change the date here, the date is changed throughout the system. To change the date, use the electronic calendar in the Title Bar—or the Lookup link in the footer.

The Database button is always visible in the title bar. The name of the currently-selected database displays in the button. Click to select another database from the drop-down that appears.

A "database" is a set of database connections. For every application for which you have a license, you have the ability to add the database connection to the application and then the application appears on the Menu Bar. Refer to Setup—Databases in the System help for more information.

Permissions override database connections, meaning that regardless of the database connection setup, users only see the applications on the Menu for which they have permissions.
