Task Bar
A horizontal Task bar is located under the Menu
bar. When you click an application name, the Task bar and application
icon appear under the Menu bar.
To Add a Quick Launch Icon
For menu items that you use frequently, you can add a “quick launch” icon for that item to
the Task bar.
- Select
an item from the menu as usual and then drag it to the right or left,
through the drop-down menu, toward the Task bar. As you drag the menu
item, you can tell that creation of the quick launch icon will be successful
when the appearance of the Task bar shifts.
- Release
the mouse button and the icon snaps to the left on the Task bar.
- To rearrange
quick launch icons on the Task bar, hold down the Shift key while
you click and drag an icon to another position on the Task bar.
- To delete
a quick-launch icon, hold down the Control key while you click the icon
and drag it off of the Task bar and then release it.
