Using the Work Environment

The application work environment consists of the following elements:

Title Bar where you can change the global date and database.
Menu Bar with menu options to access applications.
Task Bar with user-defined quick-launch icons.
Work Area with Dashboard, snap-ins, tabs, and Lookup Footer links—until you select an application. Then the application page replaces the Dashboard, snap-ins and tabs. The Lookup Footer links are always available when you select an application that has them; eDex and System do not have Lookup Footers.
