Required Setup
The standard eSite system can be used to manage manufactured
housing properties when the following setup requirements are met and completed
in this order:
- Set the property
type and select a path for creating the Memo Form for the property.
- Accept the default
memo form or create a new memo form.
- Copy an existing
addenda memo form.
To Set the Property Type and Accept the Default
Memo Form
Complete the following steps to set the property
type and to accept the default memo form.
- Select Setup, Property, Properties from
the sidebar menu. The Properties Tab displays.
- Select the Property
to work with from the grid. The Edit Property Tab displays.
- At Property
Type, use the drop-down to select 2–Manufactured
Housing. A message displays asking if you want to Use the default
Leasing Activity Memo for Manufactured Housing?
- Click OK to accept using the default memo form or Cancel. If Cancel is selected, proceed to the section
of this topic labeled, Create a New Memo Form.
Doing so prompts the system to display the word HOME in the Leasing Activity
Memo field on the Edit Property tab. To continue, complete the form using
the fields in the section labeled Memo
Form Details.
- Click Save.
To Create a New Memo Form
Complete the following steps if you selected Cancel when asked to accept the default leasing activity
memo form in the previous section labeled, Set the Property
Type and Accept the Default Memo Form. By doing so, you are electing
to create a user-defined memo form for your selected manufactured housing
property.
- Select Setup,
Property, Properties from the sidebar menu.
The Properties Tab displays.
- Select the Memos
link from the grid. The Property Memos Tab displays.
- Select the Add Memo button to create a new memo form. The Property Memo Form Selection
Tab displays.
- Complete the tab
using the field list: Memo
Tab.
- Click Save.
