Reports Tab

The Reports tab appears when you select it from the Series Setup Tab. Use this tab to add, edit, or delete the reports that make up a series.

ClosedFields

Report #

The system-assigned report number. The system adds this number when you select the report. Click to view or edit the setup details for the report.

Report Name

The system-assigned report name. The system adds this name to the grid when you select the report.

Prompts

Select a prompt option to have the system display the prompts associated with the report.

Delete

Click the Delete icon Delete iconto delete the report from the series.

Add Report

Click to add a report to the series.

Report Name

Select a report from the drop-down list.

File Name

The system enables this field only when you select Set File Name for the previous field Printer. Enter the name of the file under which you want the system to save a group of reports. Each time you run this series, the previous group of reports is overwritten by the newer group of reports.

Prop.Sel.File Name

The system enables this field only when you select Use predefined selection for the previous field Property Selection. Select a file name from the drop-down list to associate specific properties with the report group.

Copies

This field default to 1. Accept this default or enter another number if you need more copies of the group of reports.

Prompt Type

Select a type. The following selections are possible:

Prompt each time
Select this option when you want the system to display the default report prompts and require user response and completion of print details for the current run in order for the Series to print.

Predefined (always override)
Select this option when you want the system to display the regular prompts, but open a secondary window where you can preset your report print details. When the Series runs, the system displays your preset selections again to give you the opportunity to verify and/or modify before continuing with the Series run.

Predefined (always)
Select this option when you want the system to auto-print the Series based on the pre-defined setup details. No prompts appear during the run.
