Policies Overview

Policies govern the way the system responds for properties set up within your system.

Global Policies determine how it responds for all properties set up within your database.
Rentable Items policies determine how it responds for items that can be rented to residents by any property or by a selected set of properties.
Property Policies determine how it responds based on the Property Policy Group selected for a property.

Policies can be changed after your initial setup is complete. However, keep in mind that any change may impact your application and its outcomes in unexpected ways.

Be cautious about changing policy settings, and consult with a Support representative before resetting a policy to find out what the impact may be on your overall system.
