Invoices are printed summaries of new charges suitable for mailing to residents. Each invoice is assigned an invoice number. That number can be system-generated or custom fit to meet your business needs by using the system's letter options. The difference between an invoice and a statement is that statements are printed records of a resident's past history and they do not call for the assignment of a number or for a record to be created—like invoices.
