How Unit Active/Inactive Dates Affect the Report Utility

The Recalc Counts Utility recalculates unit counts and square footages for buildings and properties. To access the Recalc Counts Utility, make the following selections from the eSite menu:

Special—Utilities—Recalc Counts

When Unit Active/Inactive dates are used, the system automatically makes those adjustments to the unit counts for buildings and properties when an Active or Inactive date is entered on the Unit Setup Details tab based on the log in date. The utility considers Unit Active/Inactive dates. Logging in with a previous or future date causes the utility to recalculate unit and square footage counts based on the log in date entered. For example, if a unit is considered Active on a previous or future date, it is included in the counts.
