Assigning Specific Bank Books for ePay Payment Transactions

Use this option to assign ePay transactions for a specified Property to a selected Bank Book so that the system will use the Bank Book you want to hold the ePay payment transactions and ensure that those transactions impact the correct cash account.

Bank Book assignment should be done whenever you are setting up the resident’s ePay account. If necessary, you may change this setting to a different bank book at a later date.

NoteNote

Bank Book Assignment is required. If there is no bank book selected for a property, then ePay will not work properly. Instead, the system will default to the first bank book that the selected property is linked to, as long as that bank book has the ACH Only option selected. If any new properties are added, the system will add one default bank book entry per property. You will need to verify and accept the default or select a new bank book entry.
