Select User Code

This tab displays when you select the Lookup icon beside a User Code field. Use this pop-up to select the user code value you want to associate with the user code for the Job.

User codes appearing on this list are established in User Code setup. Refer to User Code Overview for more information.

Fields

The following fields appear on the select page:

Value

The user code value. Click the column title to sort the list. Click the link to insert the line item into the field.

Description

A description of the value. Click the column title to sort the list. Click the link to insert the line item into the field.

Cancel

Click to exit without saving changes.

To Select a User Code

Select the Lookup icon beside a User Code field. The Select pop-up opens.
Use the Filter Button to locate the user code you want to associate with the job.
Click to select the line items. The Value / Description displays in the user code field on the previous page.

Example

Select the Lookup icon beside a User Code field. The user code pop-up appears with a selection grid that shows values and descriptions. If the user code is Project Manager, the Value may be REG and the Description may be Ronald E Green. Click to select the line item and the Value / Description appear in the user code field on the previous page.
