1. From the menu, select Transactions—Inventory.
2. Click the Select Warehouses button to display the Select Warehouses pop-up and select a one or more warehouses to run the reorder process for.
3. Click Process. A confirmation message appears when the process is completed. At completion the system has performed these tasks:
   
   Updated the Warehouse Item setup by increasing the Quantity on Order for any Warehouse Items that met the criteria to have a purchase order created (in Inventory—Setup—Global Setup—Warehouse Items).
   
   Created purchase orders using the Reorder Quantity, Reorder Vendor ID, and Standard Unit Cost for all Warehouse Items that were eligible for reorder (in eFinancials—Accounts Payable—Transactions—Purchase Orders).
   
   
4. An Exceptions report prints after completion of the reorder process.

The report is by Warehouse and shows the following information for items reordered.

• Item ID
• Item Description
• PO No
• Company
• Vendor
• Reorder Qty
• UOM
• Unit Cost
• PO Total
• Qty on Order
• Qty Available

Whether your organization valuates inventory affects the reorder process.

Effect on Property and Expense Codes

Value Inventory on

The system uses the Property and Expense code listed on the Warehouse.

Value Inventory off

The system uses the Property and Expense code listed on the Warehouse Item setup.

Effect on Reports

The Begin of Day process in the eService module prints the following reports.

The PO List report shows purchase orders created as a result of the reorder process for Value Inventory only.

The Exceptions Report shows any exceptions as that are a result of the reorder process.
