Setup Partnerships Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this grid:

eFinancials—Setup—Partnership Setup—Partnerships

Use this grid to manage Partnerships for Partnership Accounting. Partnerships must be set up if you want to use Partnership Accounting. Refer to the Partnership Accounting Overview for more information.

ClosedEffect of Permissions

Permissions must be set in the System module to access all Partnerships Setup activities.

Permissions for Partnerships

System module—Security—Users—Partnership Accounting—Partnership Setup—Partnerships

Partnerships setup has separate permissions for Add, Edit, Delete, View, and View Transactions.

Fields Lists

ClosedGrid Fields

Note

You can click a column title to sort the grid.

Or, click the Filter button in a column to filter the grid by that column.

Add Partnership button

Click the button to add a new Partnership.

Partnership ID

The Partnership identification. Click the ID link to view or edit Partnership details.

Refer to the Add/Edit instructions later in this topic.

Partnership Name

The name of the Partnership.

Documents

One of the following icons appears in this column:

No documents are currently stored for the Partnership. Click the icon to upload documents for the Partnership.

At least one document is currently stored for the Partnership. Rest your mouse pointer on the icon to see the number of documents stored. Click the icon to view, add, or delete documents.

Transactions Transactions Icon

An icon appears in this column. Click the icon to view transactions for this Partnership.

The information shown includes Transaction ID, Sequence Number, Investor ID, Investor Name, Date of the transaction, Type of Transaction, Description of the transaction type, Amount of the transaction, and Ownership Contribution Percentage. Refer to Transaction Entry for more information.

Delete

Use the Delete button to delete a Partnership. Refer to the delete instructions later in this topic.

Procedures

ClosedTo Add a Partnership

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Partnerships. The Partnerships page opens.
  2. Click Add Partnership. The Add Partnership page appears.
  3. Enter information for the Partnership. Use the field list for help.
  4. Click Save.

ClosedTo Edit a Partnership

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Partnerships. The Partnerships page opens.
  2. Select the ID link for the Partnership you want to edit. The Edit Partnership page opens.
  3. Edit the information for the Partnership. Use the field list for help.
  4. Click Save.

ClosedTo Delete a Partnership

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Partnerships. The Partnerships page opens.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the Partnership you want to delete. A confirmation message appears.
  3. Click Confirm Delete. The Partnerships setup page appears again.
