Setup Companies Grid—Standard Setup

Make the following menu selections to display this tab:

eFinancials—Setup—GL Setup—Companies or
ePO—Setup—Companies

Use this tab to manage companies when your system was set up using the Standard Setup method.

ClosedFields

The following fields and buttons appear on the tab that displays when you select the menu option.

Header

Add Company Button

Use this button to add a company.

Find [Column Title] / Find Button

Find [Column Title] defaults to Find Company ID; however, if you click any underlined grid column title, the field label changes to reflect your selection. You can then search for entries based on the field label. For example, if you know the company description, click the Description column title and the Find field label changes to Find Description.

Enter the first few letters or numbers to search for (or select from a drop-down list if one displays), and then select the Find button. The items that are the nearest match to your entry display in the grid below. Click column titles to sort the list further.

Go Button

Use the Page field and the Go Button to display additional pages when the list of entries in the grid is longer than one page.

Grid

Company ID

The company identification that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field. Click an identification link to display tabs.

Description

The description of the company that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Delete  

Use the Delete button to delete a company.

ClosedTo Add a Company

  1. Click Add Company . The company tabs display.
  2. Use the General Tab and 1099 Payer Tab field lists to complete the tabs.
  3. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Edit a Company

  1. Use the Find field and Find Button to locate the company you want to edit.
  2. Select the ID link in the Company ID column. The company tabs display.
  3. Use the General Tab and 1099 Payer Tab field lists to edit the tabs.
  4. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Delete a Company

  1. Use the Find field and Find Button to locate the company you want to delete.  
  2. Click the Delete button in the Delete column. The company tabs display.
  3. Click Confirm Delete. The setup tab displays again.
