AP: Allocation Tab

Use this tab to add and edit allocation IDs and descriptions, and to add, edit, and delete allocation details.

ClosedFields

 Note

A red asterisk (*) indicates a required field or selection.

Allocation ID *

Enter an identification for the allocation. This identification appears on lists and in reports.

Description

Enter a description for the allocation. This description appears on lists and in reports.

Enter the Allocation Details that correspond to this Allocation ID.

Seq

The system-generated sequential number identifying the allocation.

PropertyCompany

Click the Lookup icon to display the Select PropertyCompany Tab and select a PropertyCompany for the allocation. The cost of this item will be allocated to this PropertyCompany. This is a required field.

Expense Code

Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Expense Code Tab and select an expense code for the allocation. The cost of this item will be allocated to this expense code.

Description

The description associated with the expense code you select. Expense code descriptions are established on the Expense Codes Tab.

Percent

Enter a percentage for the allocation detail. When all lines have been entered, it is not required that the percentages entered in this field equals 100%.

Delete

Click the Delete icon to delete an allocation detail. Note that you are deleting one detail and not the entire allocation.

Total Percentage Allocated

Shows a running total for percentages entered.

Cancel

Click to exit without saving changes.

Save

Click to save your changes.
