Effect of Setup and Global Policies on Additional Journal Detail

The More Information pop-up for Journal Entry may have required fields depending on Account Maintenance Setup and Global Policies setup on the Other tab. These potentially-required fields are:

PropertyCompany

Building

Unit

When the following options are selected, then the fields listed above are required fields on the More Information pop-up for Journal Entry.

Options that must be selected for the fields to be required:

• On GL Account Maintenance, the field Track Unit? is set to Optional or Required.
• On the global policies setup Other Tab, the field Validate PropertyCompany/Building?unit number vs eSite at time of entry must be selected.
