Electronic Calendar
Instead of typing the date into a Date field manually,
you can open an electronic calendar and pick a date. There are two ways
to open the electronic calendar.
- Click on the Calendar
button
that displays next to some Date fields, or
- Click inside a Date
field that does not have an associated Calendar button.
To Use the Electronic Calendar
- Click the Calendar
button or click in a Date
field. An electronic calendar displays, defaulting to the current month
and date.
- Use the right and
left arrows that are beside the month and year at the top of the calendar
to cycle through months to find the month you want.
- Click a date (number)
on the calendar. The date you selected is inserted in the field in the
mm/dd/yyyy format and the electronic calendar closes.
