Alternate Report Format

Some AP and GL reports are available as Alternate Reports—in an alternative format to the Standard Report. When available, this option can be selected on each report's parameter selection page.

The global policy, Default to Alternate Report, is available on the global policies Common tab. When this policy is selected, by default the Alternate Report check box is selected on the report selection parameters pages, although users can manually select the Standard Report option instead.

Alternate Report Description

When Alternate Reports is selected for a report, it prints on letter sized paper with portrait orientation, pages are numbered “x of x” in the lower right, margins are uniformly one-quarter inch, font is black, white space is reduced, report headers/footers are uniform, and a footer appears only on the last page. Account headers may not print if there is no detail account activity. Some alternative reports may also differ from the standardized Alternative Reports format (as well as from the Standard Format), i.e., they may use landscape format, have different column headings vs. the Standard Report, and there may be minor formatting differences.

For AP reports, the Alternate Reports option is only available when Print by PropertyCompany is selected.
