Global Policies Setup - Partnership Accounting Tab

Make the following menu selections to display the global policies tabs:

eFinancials (and ePO)—Setup—Global Setup—Policies—Global Policies—Partnership Accounting Tab

Use this tab to set up and manage global policies that affect partnership accounting.

Fields

Use Simple Partnerships

If you want the system to use Simple Partnerships, select this check box to enable the policy. Otherwise, clear the check box to disable the policy.

A Simple Partnership forces 100% investments, with only one Owner Contribution transaction allowed.

Allow distribution expense override

If you want the system to allow distribution expense override, select this check box to enable the policy. Otherwise, clear the check box to disable the policy. This is not available for Simple Partnerships.

Cancel

Click to stop without saving changes.

Save

Click to save changes.

Procedures

1. Select Setup—Global Setup—Policies—Global Policies—Partnership Accounting Tab. The Sales Tax Codes grid appears.
2. Refer to the Fields list for help making selection for the Partnership Accounting global policy setup.
3. Click Save.
