Job Costing Reports: Unit Cost Calculations (Question 17)

This question determines the method by which you want to calculate unit costs.

This question is asked only on the Composite Unit Cost report.

The default for this question is Labor.

Accept the default of Labor to calculate the labor unit costs for the entire cost activity based on the unit of measure from the labor record in the Activity. For example: If you have entered a SQFT unit of measure for labor costs on an activity, the unit cost for the activity will be calculated based on SQFT.

Select Material to calculate the material unit costs for the entire cost activity based on the unit of measure from the material record in the activity. For example: If you have entered a FEET unit of measure for material costs on an activity, the unit cost for the activity will be calculated based on FEET.
