Use this tab to print a general ledger balance sheet.

A balance sheet is a statement showing the assets and
liabilities of the business for a specific time period. This report displays
each asset, liability, and capital account and their balances. An optional
selection parameter allows you to include unapproved transactions.
              Note
Note
As of version 6.5.4, running a Balance Sheet report for
the prior year shows the Profit account value and the Retained Earnings
account value after running the Fiscal Year Close. Instead of creating
a journal entry for Period 12 for the Retained Earnings/Profit, the Profit/Loss
for the year is now included in the Retained Earnings amount value in
the Beginning Balance journal entry for the next year. With this change,
if you run a balance sheet report for Period 12 on a closed year, the
Profit account prints the Profit amount for that year. This only works
for years closed after installing version 6.5.4, not for years that were
 closed prior.
