Intent to Transfer Tab

This tab appears when you click Enter Intent to Transfer on the Transfer Resident Task Tab. Use this tab to enter the resident's intent to transfer. Details displayed at the top of this tab are for reference only and cannot be edited.

Fields

An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.

Transfer to Building *

Select the Lookup button to display the Select Unit Tab and select the building and unit number the resident is transferring to. Refer to Select Unit Tab for more information on using this tab. Selecting the building number from the Select Unit Tab defaults the corresponding unit number in the Transfer to Apartment field.

Transfer to Apartment *

Using the Lookup button on the previous field, Transfer to Building defaults the unit number. Accept the default or enter a different unit number.

Date Intent Given *

This field defaults to the current system date. Accept this default or enter another date using the format mm/dd/yyyy. Or, click the Calendar button to display an electronic calendar from which you can select a date.

Expected Transfer Date *

Enter the date the resident plans to transfer to the new unit using the format mm/dd/yyyy. Or, click the Calendar button to display an electronic calendar from which you can select a date.

Reason *

Select the reason the resident gave for requesting the unit transfer from the drop-down list. Moving Reasons are established on the Moving Reasons Tab.

Leasing Agent

Select the leasing agent responsible for handling the transfer from the drop-down list. Leasing Agents are established on the Leasing Agents Tab.

Marketing Source

If the resident is transferring from another property, select the method in which they heard about your property from the drop-down list. Marketing Sources are established on the Marketing Sources Tab.

Specify Recurring Charges

Check this box to set up recurring charges for this transfer when data is submitted. If checked, an additional recurring charges tab displays.
