Add Sales Category button

Select this button to add a Sales Category to eSite. Refer to the add instructions later in this topic.

Sales Category *

The user-defined Sales Category. Once saved, it cannot be edited. Examples:

Bake

Health

Grocery

Sales Group*

The Sales Group that the Sales Category belongs to; established in Sales Group Setup. Select from the drop-down list. Examples:

Food , Apparel , Services, Home, Other

Description*

The description of the Sales Category. Examples:

Bakery

Grocery store - health food

Grocery store - traditional

Delete

Use the Delete button to delete a Sales Category. Refer to the delete instructions later in this topic.

Reset button

Use the Reset button to discard changes to the grid.

Save button

Use the Save button to save changes to the grid. Unsaved changes are not permanently saved in eSite.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Rebillings— Retail—Sales Categories. The Sales Categories grid appears.
2. From the Sales Categories grid, click Add Sales Category.
3. Enter Sales Category information into the fields that appear, tabbing between fields.
4. Click Save.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Rebillings— Retail—Sales Categories. The Sales Categories grid appears.
2. Click in a field and it becomes editable.
3. Make the desired changes. Use the Fields list for help.
4. Click Save.

Note

You cannot edit the Sales Category field.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Rebillings— Retail—Sales Categories. The Sales Categories grid appears.
2. Click the Delete button for the Sales Category you want to delete. The Sales Category is deleted from the grid immediately.
3. Click Save. The Sales Category is permanently deleted from the grid.
