To Calculate a Prorated Move-Out Charge

1. From the eSite menu select Leasing—Prorate Calculator. The Prorate Calculator Tab displays.
2. At Move Out Date, enter the date the resident moved out or accept the default. To enter a different date, click the Calendar button to display an electronic calendar from which you can select a date.
3. At Lease Charge, enter the lease charge amount billed to the resident or click the Calculator Button to display an electronic calculator.
4. At FFP, enter the date of the first full period or accept the default. To enter a different date, click the Calendar button to display an electronic calendar from which you can select a date.
5. At Frequency, use the drop-down to select how often the lease charge is billed.
6. Click Save. The system auto-calculates the prorated move-out charge and displays the amounts in the grid.
