To Add or Edit Property Comments - Design Editor

Use the Design editor to add or edit what displays in the Property Comments snap-in for the currently selected property. To add comments using HTML, use the HTML editor instead of the Design editor.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Property—Additional—Property Comment.
2. On the Property Comment Tab, use the editor to add or edit text. Notice that the editor is similar to a word processing editor, with the usual tools available..

   To identify the tools, place the mouse over icons on the toolbar and view the tool tips. The Copy, Paste, Cut, Undo, and Redo, functions do not have icons, but can be replicated using keyboard shortcuts:

   Copy = Ctrl+C

   Cut = Ctrl+X

   Paste = Ctrl+V

   Undo = Ctrl+Z

    

3. Click Save. The Dashboard loads.
4. View the Dashboard to verify that comments display in the Property Comments Dashboard snap-in.

Note

To view property comments on your Dashboard, the Property Comments snap-in must be selected in the Dashboard.
