Rentable Items Grid

Make the following menu selections to display the Items grid:

Setup—Global—Rentable Items—click a link in the Items column

Use this grid to add or delete items for a Rentable Item Type.

Fields

Use this grid to enter individual items for the rentable item type, one item per line. The total number of line items in the grid must match the number entered in the Max Items field, which appears on the Rentable Item Types General tab. The system does not allow you to enter more items into the grid than are specified in the Max Items field. For example, for the Rentable Item Type Parking Spaces, with a Max Number of 30, you could enter up to 30 reserved parking space Items, one per line.

Item Number

Type an identification number for a rentable item that you plan on renting. For example, enter the number for a reserved parking space.

Description

Enter a brief description of the item associated with the Item Number, For example, enter Reserved 01 (for the first reserved parking space).

Rate

Enter a fair market value in whole dollars for the Item that is for rent.

Delete

Click the Delete icon to delete an Item.

Reset

Click to discard all changes to a line.

Save

Click Save after each line to save changes for that Item.
