Export Utility Billing File Layouts

The Export Utility Billing creates a text file in the format selected with the Export utility billing file format global policy on the Inter Property, Additional Tab. (Refer to the Export Utility Billing Tab.)

The following comma-delimited file layouts are available:

Standard File Format

Name	Max Length	Value
BLD	5	The building number (for example, "1").
UNIT	8	The unit number (for example, "3050").
TYPE	5	The unit type (for example, "1B1B").
MOVE_IN		The move in date (for example, "12/15/08").
MOVE_OUT		The move out date (for example, "12/15/08").
ADDRESS	50	The street address for the unit (for example, "6033 East Northwest Hwy").
NAMES	110	LastName, FirstName (last name comma space first name).
LEASE_BEGINS		The date the lease begins (for example, "12/15/08").
STATUS	1	The current unit status (for example, "N").
SECURITY_ON_HAND		The dollar amount of the security deposit (for example, "300.00").
RECURRING_CHARGES		The dollar amount of the recurring charges (for example, "150.00").
LEASE_TERM		The length of the lease (for example, "12").
EXPECTED_MOVE_OUT		The expected move out date (for example, "12/15/08").

The comma-delimited, ASCII file format includes data for all current residents and previous residents who moved out within 60 days prior to the specified “Run as of” date.

Name	Value
Company Code	The first two characters of the Property ID.
Property ID	The Property ID.
Property Name	The name of the property.
Unique Tenant ID	The Resident ID.
Resident Status	The resident status (for example, "Current").
Resident First Name	The first name of the resident.
Resident Last Name	The last name of the resident.
Build #	The building number (for example, "1").
Unit #	The unit number (for example, "3050").
Service Address	The street address for the unit (for example, "6033 East Northwest Hwy").
Service City	The City of the unit address.
Service State	The State of the unit address.
Service Zip	The Zip of the unit address.
Number of Occupants	The total number of Responsible and Non-Responsible occupants for the unit (for example, "2").
Square Footage	The total square footage for the unit (for example, "850").
Lease Start Date	The original Lease Begins date (for example, "12/15/08"). Or, the current Lease Begins date for a first-time lease.
Move In Date	The lease Move-in date (for example, "12/15/08").
Move Out Date	The lease Move-out date (for example, "12/15/09").
Lease Renewal Date	The Begins Date for the Current Lease. This is blank for a first-time lease.
Service Identifier	U for Unknown
