Make the following menu selections to display the Export
Permissions to Access tab:
Use this tab to export a compressed, Microsoft Access
database containing a listing of permission information for your users,
roles, and groups. You can also add your own queries to extract data for
your own reports.
You must have some knowledge of Microsoft Access in order
to design your own queries and reports.
- Using Microsoft Access
version 2000 or newer, open the extracted file (PermissionExport.mdb).
- Using the Tables
Object view, review the tables.
Note
If the table name begins with an application, the table
is specific to that application. Otherwise, the table is not application-specific.
- Using the Queries
Object view, review the queries. If desired, add your own queries to extract
data for your own reports.
- Using the Reports
Object view, review the User Access reports. You can use these as examples
for creating your own reports:
eFinancials User
Entity Access Report - displays the User Name, User Short Name,
Entity ID, and Entity Name for each entity to which a user has access.
eFinancials User
Property Access Report - displays
the User Name, User Short Name, Property ID, and Property Name for each
property to which a user has access in eFinancials.
eServiceUser Property Access Report -
displays the User Name, User Short Name, Property ID, and Property Name
for each property to which a user has access in eService.
eSiteUser Property Access Report -
displays the User Name, User Short Name, Property ID, and Property Name
for each property to which a user has access in eSite.
