Use the Design editor to add or edit what displays in the System Comments snap-in for the currently selected database set. To add comments using HTML, use the HTML editor instead of the Design editor.

1. From the System menu, select Setup—System Comment.
2. On the System Comment Tab, use the editor to add or edit text. Notice that the editor is similar to a word processing editor, with the usual tools available.

   To identify the tools, place the mouse over icons on the toolbar and view the tool tips. The Copy, Paste, Cut, Undo, and Redo, functions do not have icons, but can be replicated using keyboard shortcuts:

   Copy = Ctrl+C

   Cut = Ctrl+X

   Paste = Ctrl+V

   Undo = Ctrl+Z

    

3. Click Save.
4. Click the Home tab and, If necessary, click the Add Snap-in link (upper right corner) to add the System Comments snap-in to the Dashboard.
5. View the System Comments snap-in to verify that your additions or changes appear.

Use the HTML editor to add or edit what displays in the System Comments snap-in for the currently selected property. To add comments without using HTML, use the Design Editor instead of the HTML editor.

1. From the System menu, select Setup—System Comment.
2. On the System Comment Tab, click HTML to switch to the HTML editor.
3. Add or edit content using the HTML editor. When done, click Update.
4. Click Save.
5. Click the Home tab and, If necessary, click the Add Snap-in link (upper right corner) to add the System Comments snap-in to the Dashboard.
6. View the System Comments snap-in to verify that your additions or changes appear.

Use either editor (Design or HTML) to add or edit what displays in the System Comments snap-in for the currently selected property.

1. From the System menu, select Setup—System Comment.
2. From the System Comment Tab, select any or all comments you want to delete in the editor and press the Delete key.
3. Click Save.
4. Click the Home tab and, If necessary, click the Add Snap-in link (upper right corner) to add the System Comments snap-in to the Dashboard.
5. View the System Comments snap-in to verify your deletions.
