Error Log
Make the following menu selections to display this page:
System—Error
Log
Use this option to view any unhandled (yellow screen)
errors that occur in Infor Property Management. The error log is automatically
trimmed to hold errors generated within the last 30 days only.
About the Error Log
The system uses ELMAH, an open source global error handler
that supports logging errors to a table in the configuration database
and viewing the error log via the Web browser. This error log enhances
error reporting and troubleshooting of Infor Property Management. For more
information about ELMAH, refer to the ELMAH website.
Effect of Permissions
A user must have the permission to access the error log:
System module—Security—Users—(select a
user)—Permissions—System—Error Log.
Users without this permission do not see the Error Log
tab.
To View Errors in the Error
Log
- From
the System menu, select Error Log.
The Error log appears.
- You can view errors
that appear in the error log grid, one error per line. Click the Details...
link in the Error column to load a new page to
view additional information about an error. Return to the original error
grid page using the browser's back button.
- You can navigate
through pages of the event log using the Next
errors and Back
to first page links located at the bottom left, under the grid.
- To leave the error
log, select a menu item.
