Student Housing Overview

Student Housing is a property type used by residential communities or properties that lease their units to students enrolled is some sort of school, college, or university. This type of property allows residential property owners and managers to track specific charges related to student housing, including charges for furnished and unfurnished units, or charges for multiple or single occupancies. It also allows them to pull trend and occupancy report data by semester. eSite operates as a student housing property management system when the property type is set to 3–Student Housing on the Properties Tab.

When Student Housing is selected as the property type, the following options are added to the standard eSite menu: Trend Income Cd, Trend Reports, and Semesters.
