Show Occupants

The Show Occupants check box displays on most resident grids for Ledger and Lease Changes.

Show Occupants does not display for commercial property types.

Select the Show Occupants check box and the resident grid refreshes so that all residents display on the grid. Otherwise, only the first person entered into the system, i.e., the main resident, displays on the grid. Roommates with equal responsibility for the lease will not display unless the Show Occupants check box is selected.

It is frequently useful to show all residents. When Show Occupants is selected, the amount due displays the full amount for the apartment next to each resident. So, if the rent is $1,000 and there are 3 responsible residents, each resident’s name displays with $1.000 due next to each one. This allows the user to look up by name instead of apartment.
