Property Comment Overview

The Property Comments snap-in is provided so that you can display on your Dashboard information of your choosing for the currently selected property. You must have permissions to the Property Comments snap-in to create and display it on your Dashboard.

Permissions to the Property Comments snap-in are granted in the System module (System —Security—Users—(select user)—eSite—Dashboard Snap-ins—Property Comments)

You use Property Comment setup to add free-form content (text or images) that will then appear in the snap-in on your Dashboard—as long as you have selected to add the snap-in to your Dashboard.

Note

On the Dashboard, property comments only display for the current property. When you switch properties, any property comments set up for the new property then display.

As with all Dashboard snap-ins, displaying Property Comments on the Dashboard is optional. Creating property comments for a property is also optional. Comments can be added to and displayed for any property—or edited—as needed.
