If you own rental property and rent living space to other persons in the state of Minnesota, you or your managing agent must issue a Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP) to those persons if:

When are CRPs Due?

Landlords must give one CRP form to each renter no later than January 31, of the following year. For instance, for the year 2017, CRPs must be issued by January 31, 2018.
