Full Residential Setup
Full setup provides you with
the means to set up all the basic resident information plus data for the
following components: corporate client, profit center, addresses, demographics,
and search items.
After you have planned your setup—reading
setup details and completing the questionnaires necessary for your setup—you are ready
to start entering data into the system. We suggest you follow the ordered
tasks detailed below for a smooth and successful setup.

A
red asterisk ( * ) indicates a
required set up activity. RDP
indicates the item is required based on policy.
Complete Policy Setup
The policy set up should be completed prior to adding
any other files to your system.
- Confirm that all
users are established in System—Security—Users.
- Set up global
policies*.
Use your completed global policy questionnaire for reference.
- Set up rentable
items policies * RDP. Setting up rentable items policies is
required if the global policy, Use Rentable Items is checked. Use your completed
rentable items policy questionnaire for reference.
- Set up property
policies*.
Use your completed property policy questionnaire for reference.
Complete the Remaining Setup
Completing the remaining setup is required and can
be done at any time after you have completed the policy setup.
- Set up Calendars

- Set up Properties*. Complete the Property tab.

- Set up Bank
Books*.
Use your completed bank book questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Return
Codes*.

- Set up ABA
Account.
Use your ABA account questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Corporate
Clients*RDP.
Corporate Clients are required if the global policy, Use
Corporate Clients is checked. Use your corporate client questionnaires
for reference.
- Set up Credit/Insurance
Agencies.
Use your credit/insurance agencies questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Document
Types.
Use your document type questionnaires for reference.
- Set up eFinancials
Transfer. If used, the global policies, Transfer
to G/L and Transfer to A/P must be set
to eFinancials Web Service. Use your eFinancials
transfer questionnaire for reference.
- Set up Rentable
Items* RDP. Rentable items
are required if the global policy, Use Rentable Items
is checked.
- Set up Report
Codes.
Use your report code questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Search
Topics.

- Set up Series
Setup.
Use your series setup questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Guest
Action Codes.
Use your guest action code questionnaires for reference.
- Set up Phone
Actions* RDP. Phone actions
are required if the property policy, For Guest Cards
must be set to Require Action Taken. Use your

- Set up Internet
Actions* RDP. Internet actions
are required if the property policy, For Guest Cards
must be set to Require Action Taken. Use your

- Set up Visit

- Set up Communities* RDP. Internet actions are required

- Set up Moving
Reasons * RDP. Moving reasons

- Set up Non-Qualified
Codes.

- Set up Price
Ranges* RDP. Price ranges
are required if the property policy, For Guest Cards
must be set to Require Price Range. Use your

- Set up Zip
Codes.

- Set up Income
Codes*. Income codes defined
in the property policies, Default Income Codes
and Income code for MTM charge must be added.

- Set up Cancel/Denial
Codes*.

- Set up Tax
RatesRDP. Tax rates are required
if the global policy, Calculate and bill resident sales

Default Charges.

Profiles. These are only available for a property that has not
completed Go Live. Use your resident profile

Balances. These are only available for a property that has not
completed Go Live. Use your resident profile

- Set up Letters.
Using the options available from the Letters menu, create a data template,
create a form letter, upload and assign the form letter and assign a merge
location. In addition, once a Late Notice letter has been assigned, it
must be linked to the appropriate Late Notice. Use your letter questionnaire
