Special—Housekeeping—Assign Calendar
The Assign Calendar utility provides a way to reassign a Fiscal Calendar to a Live property.
When you execute the process, the system verifies that all transaction dates of record for the property fit into a Fiscal Period in the new calendar. If necessary, the system updates the transaction GL Periods to match the Fiscal Period that contains the transaction Date of Record.
Optionally, this utility can be used to update the property’s Current Accounting Period.
Note:
The Fiscal Calendar can be changed in Property Setup under Properties if the property is not live
Fields
Assign Calendar Fields
A red circle ( 
) indicates
a required field.
Assign Calendar for Property
Click the Lookup 
to select the property for which you want to reassign a Fiscal Calendar. Your selection auto-populates the following fields: Current Calendar, Current Accounting Period.
Current Calendar
Display field. Pulls the current Fiscal Calendar linked to the selected property.
Current Accounting Period
Display field. Pulls the current accounting period for the selected property.
New Calendar
Click the Lookup to select the Fiscal Calendar to assign to the selected property.
New Accounting Period
Enter the new accounting period in the new Fiscal Calendar for the property in the format MM/YYYY. Default is the property’s current accounting period.
