Reports—Resident Reports—Demographics
The Demographics Report summarizes occupant demographic information. Occupants whose Responsibility flag = Guarantor are not included.
Occupancy
Total Occupied
The count of units with an occupancy status of Occupied.
Occupied Percentage
This number is calculated as (Total Occupied/Total Number of Units) X 100.
Count of Adults and Children
Adults (Male)
The count of male occupants residing on property over the age of 18.
Percent (Male)
This number is calculated as (Count of Adult Males/Count of Occupants on property) X 100.
Children (Male)
The count of male occupants residing on property under the age of 18.
Percent (Male)
This number is calculated as (Count of Male Children/Count of Occupants) X 100.
Adults (Female)
The count of female occupants residing on property over the age of 18.
Percent (Female)
This number is calculated as (Count of Female Adults/Count of Occupants) X 100.
Children (Female)
The count of female occupants residing on property under the age of 18.
Percent (Female)
This number is calculated as (Count of Female Children/Count of Occupants) X 100.
Totals
Column totals are listed.
Count of Adults and Children by Age Group
Adults
Number
The count of adults listed per age group.
Percent
This number is calculated as (Count of Adults listed per Age Group/Count of Occupants on Property) X 100.
Cumulative Percent
Sum of all previous amounts in the Percent column.
Children
Number
The count of children listed per age group.
Percent
This number is calculated as (Count of Children listed per Age Group/Count of Occupants on Property) X 100.
Cumulative Percent
Sum of all previous amounts in the Percent column.
Average Age of Adults and Children
Adults (Average Age)
This number is calculated as the Sum of Adult Ages/Count of Adults.
Children (Average Age)
This number is calculated as the Sum of Children Ages/Count of Children.
Adults (Median Age)
This number is calculated as the Maximum Adult Age – Minimum Adult Age / 2.
Children (Median Age)
This number is calculated as the Maximum Child Age – Minimum Child Age / 2.
Marital Status by Apt Type
Apt Type
The apartment type. For instance, 1/1 Pool.
Single Male
Count of single adult males listed per apt type.
Single Female
Count of single females listed per apt type.
Married Male
Count of married males listed per apt type.
Married Female
Count of married females listed per apt type.
Divorced Male
Count of divorced males listed per apt type.
Divorced Female
Count of divorced females listed per apt type.
Widowed Male
Count of widowed males listed per apt type.
Widowed Female
Count of widowed females listed per apt type.
Totals
The male and female columns are totaled for each marital status. Note, the percentage of the total represented by each marital status for males and females is also computed.
Household Status by Apt Type
Apt Type
The apartment type. For instance, 1/1 Pool.
One Adult Male
Count of units of this type where the unit has one adult male occupant.
One Adult Female
Count of units of this type where the unit has one adult female occupant.
Two Adults Married Couple
Count of units of this type where the unit has two adult occupants; one married male and one married female.
Two Adults Unmarried Couple
Count of units of this type where the unit has two adult occupants; one single male and one single female.
Roommates
Count of units of this type where the unit has two adult occupants that do not qualify as married or unmarried couples.
Three or More Adults
Count of units of this type where the unit has three or more adult occupants.
Total
Column totals are listed.
Children
Count of units of this type where the unit has an occupant under the age of 18.
Adult Income Summary
Lists the number of adult males and females in each income bracket. The total number of adults in each bracket is listed, along with the percentage of the total represented by each income bracket.
Household Income Summary by Unit Type
Lists the number of household incomes in each income bracket for each unit type. Household income is defined as the sum of incomes of all adult occupants in a unit. The total number of households in each bracket is listed, along with the percentage of the total represented by each income bracket.
User-Defined Demographics
Provides counts and percentages for any user-defined demographics. These are defined using the Occupant Demographics Definition function and the User Tables on the Setup menu.
