Tenant Statuses

Tenant Statuses are used to identify the state of a tenant based on lease dates and associated status flags and cannot be directly changed by the user. This information applies only to commercial properties, that is, properties with property type set to 6-Standard Commercial. This information does not apply to standard residential property types.

Current

A tenant with an Occupy Date before the current system date and no Vacate Date (or a Vacate Date after the system date) is considered Current.

Previous

A tenant with a Vacate Date equal to or before the current system date is considered Previous.

Leased

A tenant without an Occupy Date (or an Occupy Date after the system date) or Vacate Date is considered Leased.

On-Notice

A tenant with an Occupy Date before the current system date, a Notice Given date before the current system date with an Expected Move-Out Date, and no Vacate Date (or Vacate Date after the system date) is considered On-Notice.
