Series of Reports Overview

Reports can be set up to print in a series, which allows you to create a printing shortcut that enables you to print reports in groups rather than having to select individual reports. Depending on your needs, you can set up a series of reports to print daily, weekly, or monthly. You can also define an order for your reports to print within a series.

When a series of reports prints, the PDF version of the report is named userid.userid.seriesid.pdf. The naming convention allows more than one user to run the same series. After you are finished with a PDF, an automatic process deletes it.

Note

Setting up series of reports is optional. If you do not want to print in series, do not set up. Series do not affect the setup process and can be set up at any time. You can print reports one at a time regardless of whether you complete this setup.
