Drop-Down Browser Lists - Troubleshooting
If you have AutoComplete enabled on the AutoComplete
Settings screen in your web browser, drop-down lists display for many
fields. Two places where the drop-down frequently display are in the Login field and Find fields.
As you use the system, the drop-down list can get extensive; however,
you can clear entries from the list.
To Clear Single Entries
- Click in a blank
Find field. The list of previous entries displays.
- Move your cursor
to highlight an entry in the list; do not select the entry, just point
to it.
- Press
the Delete button on your keyboard. The
system removes the entry from the drop-down list.
To Clear All Entries
- Click Tools
on the main menu. The Tools menu displays.
- Select Internet
Options…
The Internet Options screen displays.
- Select the Content tab.
- Locate the Personal information box, and then select the AutoComplete…
button. The AutoComplete Settings screen displays.
- Locate the Clear AutoComplete History box, and then select the
Clear Forms button. A confirmation message displays.
- Click OK
to acknowledge the message and clear all entries. The system removes all
entries from the drop-down list.
- Click Cancel to close the remaining open screens.
